Title: Front End Developer

Location: Northern New Jersey (some remote)

Salary: $150,000 - $175,000 DOE

We are looking for a Front-End Web Engineer - JavaScript Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, and with Backend Developers to implement the API in the created interfaces.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop new user-facing features

• Maintain Legacy user interfaces

• Build reusable code and libraries for future use

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability

• Collaborate with other team members

• Integrate backend API’s with user interfaces

Technical Skills:

• Proficient understanding of JavaScript (Required)

• Proficient in the latest JS frameworks including Angular (Required)

• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 (Required)

• Proficient understanding of CSS pre-processing like SASS (Required)

• Proficient in the latest JS Features including ES6

• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

• Basic understanding of Package Managers like NPM

• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.

Language and Framework Skills:

• JavaScript

• CSS/CSS3/SCSS

• Angular

Education and Experience:

Two to four years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and professional working experience. Continuous demonstration of excellence and a recommendation by the individual’s immediate supervisor may qualify one who does not meet the above prerequisites
