Created March 14, 2018 Job Title: Chief of Staff Reference: JR-0006353 <p><strong>About the Role:</strong>  WeWork is seeking a Chief of Staff, reporting directly to the General Counsel. The Chief of Staff will act as the prime liaison and strategic advisor to the General Counsel and will support the global needs of WeWork's rapidly growing legal organization. The Chief of Staff will work closely with the General Counsel in leading and executing strategic initiatives, projects, and deals, both internally and externally. <strong>Job Description</strong> <ul> <ul> <li>Handle all State Registration Annual Filings, updates and new registrations for TRC subsidiary companies</li> <li>Handle all company-level Professional License renewals, updates and new license applications</li> <li>Renew all city and county licenses, updates and new applications through collaboration with TRC's Finance Department</li> <li>Maintain licensing and registration spreadsheets for TRC's internal use and prepare custom spreadsheets where needed for distribution to external parties.</li> <li>Maintain and prepare new registration and licensing for Canadian provinces.</li> <li>Support requests for licensing and registration information regarding TRC subsidiary companies in proposals and questionnaires (e.g., NYC Vendex)</li> <li>Provide support to operations as needed (e.g., daily emails for information, copies of licenses and Certificates of Good Standing)</li> <li>Maintain records of filings related to corporate status of all existing and newly acquired TRC subsidiary companies</li> </ul> </ul> <strong>Requirements</strong> <ul> <ul> <li>Three years or more of experience working in complex business and regulatory environments</li> <li>Working knowledge of corporate governance and legal and structural aspects of business organizations</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.
